With the ever increasing quantity of sensitive material held by the public sector about citizens, there is a desire for people to know what is held about them, and great risks in failing to handle it appropriately. The General Data Protection Regulations come into force on 25 May 2018, and public bodies need to be prepared to meet its requirements. So we are delighted to announce that Information Commissioner, Elizabeth Denham will be our keynote speaker talking about information rights and the statutory responsibilities of public bodies. This will be a joint event with ACE’s sister organisation the Public Chairs' Forum.
